Cheers Keith, I had a couple of those others somewhere but can't find them.

The last photo above of Elvis and Albert Hand appears in this Elvis Monthly that I have just scanned. Along with photos from Love Me Tender, Loving You, Blue Hawaii and Follow That Dream.

Dem were Dose days.

In a later Elvis Monthly mag, with photo of Albert and his family.

are you planning to post all photos, included those from the 50s?
Please keep 60s topics as they are meant to be, Ludwig.
You're welcome to post 50s on the numerous pre 60 topics featured
on I Gotta Know. Thank you.

I haven't got a clue what you are attempting to say here, GerMan.
The Albert Hand photos are 60s so is the photo I posted.

I'll not be posting 50s photos here.

EDIT. The photo of Elvis in his uniform I automatically associated with the 1960s Elvis Monthly... never thought it might be from an earlier time. Shall I delete it? Wouldn't like to spoil your flow.

Reading your post I thought you also had scanned the interior
pix from that particular issue, including the 50s ones?!
Must be your Irish accent that I didn't fully understand?!
Apologies for the misunderstanding.

That's okiedokie. Ger.
Foreigners visiting Ireland have usually learnt 'school English' and are surprised when they cannot understand a word of the spoken 'Irish English' especially in places like county Kerry, where the people speak very fast and even I have to get them to speak slower to understand what they are saying. That can often apply to other counties too.

With the written word, all you have to do is read it more slowly................. then Maurice's lilting Dublin accent becomes almost understandable...........

You guys are funny.

But way off the mark. I actually have a Manchester UK accent.

My younger brother Seamus over here from the UK for a few days has a Bolton Lancashire accent. Yet after our throats are lubricated with a pint or six of Guinness we sound just like a pair of Paddies. :-)

Most people here in Ireland think I'm on holiday! But the more discerning listeners will fathom me out in no time at all. Sure why wouldn't dey me being meself at all times.
