Dean Jones is 80 today !

A US actor, Dean starred in many films including That Darn Cat [1965] & The Love Bug [1968].

Curiously, Dean also appeared in the 1995 re-makes of both these films !

He appeared as the DJ who helps to break Vince Everett's first single in the 1957 Elvis film Jailhouse Rock.

Another name that was unfamiliar to me. Good to know he's still with us!

I wonder if any interviewer/reporter has ever asked him about Elvis & Jailhouse Rock. Hopefully, someone will point me to an interview in Man & Music. :-)

Another extremely familiar face, showing up in many comedies. i know the face very well, but not the name.
