Hi Monkeys,

There is an article in this months Record Collector that has rare sleeves from around the world. Amongst them in the Christmas LP from New Zealand. What the article fails to mention or show is the back cover and how to tell an original from a reproduction.
Now I know that there are monkeys out there who have both in their collection and I was just wondering if someone could enlighten me to how to spot an original from a re-issue / repro.

Thanks
Rich

The boot was pressed and printed in Holland, together with
the BKL- 60 lp. But maybe pressed again in the UK later on?

Hi there.
Regarding LOC 1035 pressing New Zealand, could any one confirm the following.
1) First pressing 1957. What was the last pressing date of the 57 cover?
2) Does anyone have images of the various labels from 1st to last?
3) Does anyone have the first pressing which I am told had oval flipjacks rather than straight? Images please?
Lastly, what is the current book values for VG to Mint range?
Many thanks
Guy

disappointing no one yet has replied to your questions, Gus.
It can be a very lonely place sometimes, here on Monkey...
On the other hand, the NZ Christmas is very rare... Nobody (?)
here might have one... or two... or...?!
Keep us posted, okay.

I'd love to help but sadly I don't have it.
Maybe Ric, Bruno or Chris Giles may be asble to help.
