for the record, Colgan: you have now started two topics against me,
in this section. Good god, you're hungry for attention aren't you?!
And yes, at the time on fecc people could smell your burned flesh
2 blocks away while being burned at the stake by your many, many
'friends' on fecc. Remember that 'classic' about the letter you had/have
from Elvis?! Everybody told you it was written by one of his
secretaries...But no, you knew better. You even had it 'authenticated'
to proof your point. No outsiders were needed to spot your letter
being one of thousands that went to fans worldwide...ALL written
by his secretaries. But no, Yours was one from Elvishimselvis.
And that's one of your many shortcomings Colgan: your knowledge
about Elvis in general is 10 below zero. And that's why it's my waist
of time to even bother getting back at you. In the Elvis scene you're
a nobody. A Xmas card from mother Dolores or a tap on the shoulder
from some Tupelo bizniz people is not gonna change that. You're sad.
At last, your true colours, Rijff.
As I have already pointed out, a far wiser person than you, once said, "The more we speak of things in general, the more we portray ourselves".
(yourself)
So what you are saying is Elvis himselvis actually set me up, a 19 year old father in 1961, my seriously ill wife in hospital, and many other very innocent Elvis fans, along with public Elvis memorabilia experts all around the world, by knowingly allowing his secretary to forge his signature on correspondence.
Do I need to sue Sothebys, Bonham's, and a few other Elvis memorabilia experts and Auctioneers for misleading me?
An Elvis fan bought the letters a few years ago for 2,400 pounds sterling at an auction in London. I went out of my way to publicise that auction before the event in case there were any objections.
Your unclevester waited till the Auction was over to attack me about them on FECC.
You yourself Rijff pointed out to him fans did not know too much about the goings on in Graceland back in 1961. Remember?
We had to wait till the self appointed and infamous Elvis experts on FECC arrived to enlighten us all.
But even then hundreds of newspaper articles about the letters had been published, 3 TV appearences and dozens of radio shows covered the Elvis letters story and not one objection appeared publicly in print.
I have publicly offered to buy back those letters, because as you may know I had amazing good fortune because of them.
They may become the most famous/infamous Elvis letters in history.... after the one to Anita Wood of course.
So Ger me boyo, I may not know as much Elvis trivia as you obviously do.
But I shoot straighter!
"burnt flesh" indeed. LOL.
