yeah, that was one big screw up by a 'collegeau' who went into the studio
for the final editing of this album and could not recognise the alternate take
from the master. He also decided on cutting off the studio dialogue heard
just befor a take of Jailhouse Rock! Meanwhile the Lp covers were done already.

Henk, there's still an outtake of Young & Beautiful on this boot not yet
officially released? Or did FTD filled up the gap in recent times?

There were also a couple of takes of Don't Leave Me Now exclusive to this LP for years, but now out on FTD.

The best ever version of I Beg Of You on this album.
Was this released officialy yet ?
I'd loved to hear this in a pristine quality.

One of the best 50's songs imo.

It's take 12 from the January 13 1957 sessions and has been released in pristine quality.

I didn't know it is take 12. Thanks for the info.
I listened to it on essential but I still prefer the version on Jailhouse Rock.
I have the feeling it rocks more.
There is even a sort of applause on the end which is not on the cd.
