Did I miss seeing them, or didn't they make it up here
yet? A little inside information I picked up from Ernst
recently: The New York photo session that produced
the cover of the 2nd album ( and various singles and EPs),
was meant to have graced the 1st LPM-1254!
The details why it wasn't used will be revealed in either
the 'Big Beat' book or in '4 days in 1956'.
I mention this photo shoot because one of the 'classic'
shots in the red jacket is seen on the jap 78s picture
sleeves! Sushi anyone?!

Here a few Japanese 78s I found on Ebay.
I think it is another cover used here.

S-263 Elvis (I Want You, I Need You, I Love You) - Janis Martin (Will You Willyum)

S-273 Hound Dog - I Love You Because

S-281 Love Me Tender - Anyway You Want Me

I think this is the cover Ger means.

It sure is, Jans! Ever since seeing it in a Jap records book I wanted
one...badly! But never got around getting one.
Any rough idea what the going price is these days?

I can't make a choice. Both album covers , and Golden Records vol 2, are
like family to me since I was a teen in the late 50s...

Yes, for me it is hard as well what cover to choose and I agree that Golden Records Vol 2 is a classic. Thank you. Bye for now banana_rock.gif.

It is not a 78 rpm but a rare promo EP from Japan.
