That level of censorship is a sad indictment on the admin over there, the way they feel need to treat their members like errant school kids. I'm not aware of a single post that has been deleted (by the 'moderators') on this board and yet the sky hasn't fallen in, yet.

Speaking of rubbery figures, I note the FECCP banner lays claim to '20 million visitors'..........

Image

Sounds like more of the Mad Medics propaganda machine......unfortunately it should read '20 million visits'.......big difference.
I wonder how many of those fantasy 20 million visitors have been banned........working on 18%, hmmm 3.6 million?

Can't remember the ins and outs of it but.....Gregory Nolan Jnr took umbrigde with something I said. Trev had criticised his over long liner notes on some bootleg in The Man And His Music, so from then on he slagged us off every chance he got so I pointed out to him he was playing tit for tat. It was open knowledge that he'd done the liner notes but sent me pm's telling me to remove my post. I didn't LOL. Someone else did. That is not word for word what happened, just my memory of it.

Hi Mags. Nice to see you. We don't see you around here often enough. Just so that I and everyone else is clear can you help me with the following?? You say HE sent you PM's asking you to remove your post. I do know you are stating that this occurred on FECC. ....you did not remove your post as HE had requested so it was removed anyway. Who is it that you are talking about when you write "HE sent me PM's asking me to remove my post??? Thanks and if anyone else can help clarify along with Mags that's great too!! And to your left ladies and gentlemen is the doc crapenter bullshit metre. Still hitting those high notes.

Anyone else notice the huge volume of posts the Doc made on FECC around the time the 1,000,000 posts were reached?

His volume far exceeded his daily average.

The volume dropped significantly when Barry rang the bell.

Somebody missed out on glory

Oh I don't know Kev, the Mad Medic knows a lot about James Burton (more than James himself), though apparently not much about John Wilkinson or Charlie Hodge......

Incredible? Hardly.
Weird? Most definitely.
Factual? My arse.

Keep an eye on the Wonder Of You thread on FECC. A learned FECC member by the name of Daryl has just handed doc crapenter his ass in the Bendeth/Jorgensen fiasco. Daryl makes some clear and concise points about Ernst and the 30 # 1 Hits project, basically handing crapenter his ass in the very one-sided discussion between the two. crapenter determines he is a beaten man by the logic and facts presented by Daryl, says he is "tired" and is finished with the debate. LOL That's a seldom used excuse crapper. Tired eh? Your ass handed to you is more like it loser. Well done Daryl. Somebody send that boy Daryl on that Wonder of You thread an invite to join us here at TMMB and let me know via PM what kind of response you get. Oh, and just before crapper heads off into the sunset on that thread he suggests somebody else might try to "educate" Daryl. Who shows up just a minute or two later but fuck-face number 2 a.k.a midnightz. What a fucking suprise that was!!

EJ. I wasn't surprised that it would sell, but that we've sold 9 million worldwide now, that is a pleasant surprise. The company in general was very bullish about it. There was one guy who stood up and said, "We're going to sell 10 million of this." The rest of us looked at him and said, "I'm glad I didn't say that." He's eventually going to be proven right.

Since Jorgensen has been in charge of organizing Presley reissues — a job he originally expected might last a year or two — a series of box sets have been released covering his studio output from the '60s and '70s and another gathering the songs he recorded for the 31 movies he starred in. He also coordinated 2002's "Elvis: 30 #1 Hits," a 31-track compilation that spent three weeks at No. 1 and remained on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart for 99 weeks.

Quote:
Ernst Jorgensen changed all that. Already a student of Elvisiana by the time he was tasked by RCA with restoring the King’s musical heritage in the late ’80s, Jorgensen began serving up a treasure trove of reissues, compilations and re-contextualizations. Nowadays, Elvis’ catalog is perhaps the most lovingly preserved and intelligently presented in all of rock – from the exhaustive, decade-specific box sets of the early ’90s to the genre-specific, single-disc comps that emerged later that decade, and on to more recent sets like Elvis 30 #1 Hits and Elvis 2nd To None. In the last year Sony/BMG has celebrated a milestone birthday with the Jorgensen-compiled box Elvis 75 – Good Rockin’ Tonight – a just-about-perfect rendering of the catalog for a new generation of listeners.

Quote:
From his highly praised work on the loving restoration of Elvis' entire catalog to his studied expertise co-producing the definitive career box sets, plus the recent global blockbusters, Elvis: 30 # 1 Hits, and 2nd To None, Jorgensen, along with partner Roger Semon, has been the true keeper of Elvis' musical legacy.

Quote:
Ernst Jorgensen: There is no "next" at this time, in that we have the box set and we have the #1 record [a collection of 30 of Presley's #1 hits, set for release in September; visit http://www.elvisnumberones.com], and we want see bow those releases go. http://www.elvisnews.com/news.aspx/erns ... dmine/2100

And who could forget one of the Mad Medics go-to resource.......

"You nitpick a simple typo because you are incapable of a thoughtful reply". Who do you think said THAT?? Well you're fucking right again!!!!! doc crapentar made a typing error in the FECC thread about the song "This Is The Story>" The FECC poster pointed out that crapentar had written "a country NILE" instead of a country MILE. Well several FECC posters had some fun with crapentars typo until doc shit-for-brains caught up and accussed the poster of the quote that appears at the top of this posting. I am sure you will agree crapenter is the FRIST IN LINE to make light of somebodys spelling errors or grammatical errors when it suits HIM. Those types of errors, from other FECC posters are often from those who do not have english as their first language. And that's one (of the many) thing(s) that make crapentar what he was and is....a fucking asshole of the highest order. I don't know how the FECC management and membership put up with that little shit. And if you're still around Mrs. Saulovich...which I highly doubt.....RUN HONEY.....RUN!!!!
