American collectables have been well documented through books like Presleyana, and a number of Elvis Collectable Memorabilia. It is quite a different story for the rest of the world as has been shown by many of the great post on TMMB – I Gotta Know – section. It’s always great to see many of the early publications and promotional material that has been produced outside the U.S.A. Though King Creole was released in the U.S. in 1958 – it didn’t see a release in some countries until the early 1960’s. Last year I posted some pictures of UK and Italian King Creole posters and some other amazing King Creole items were posted by others. Check it out – Was there a UK quad King Creole Poster? In this vein I thought I’d post a number of items from Europe from this film. If you have any other items from the time from any country other than America please post them – I’d love to see them.

I hope you find this of some interest.

All the best

Harry

Hi rickeap - the daybill poster is stunning I've never seen this before. The art work is excellent and bright. I particularly like the images of Elvis and Carolyn Jones. Totally different to any other King Creole artwork. A great addition to your collection and this thread.

All the best.

Harry

what's different in your opinion about Elvis & Carolyn ( Aussie daybill) in comparising to
the same images used on the various US posters?
The Aussie attempt to paint the faces, in my opinion, resulted in candy colored
sweetness , not fitting the brooding feel of the movie...
Surely it's a matter of taste...just not my taste. The mag covers, sheet music and
other KC goodies posted by you are great. Thanks!

Any chance for more non yankee collectables, any time soon, Harry?
This is really 'primo uno stuff ' ... to use an Amsterdam 'coffee shop'
expression...! : )
