Let me kick off with this LP.

LP Standing room only

The LP was released in march 1987 on Laurel LPS 3772.

The LP contains tracks from movie Elvis On Tour; on this LP are two tracks from 09-04-72 evening show in true stereo which are not released on CD and only here available: I got a woman/Amen - You gave me a mountain.

Thanks Colonel for getting it started.

In all these years I never realised these two tracks were available in stereo only on this LP.

And another question is: where did the Stereo tape came from?
It's a genuine Laurel release, so I should know, you would think?!
But I can't remember. I had zero interest in On Tour... hence a
1974 photo up front, and one from '75 on the back...
Sorry, I was bussy making 50s photobooks at the time.

Did it not come from the LaserDisc issue, if I remember correctly?
I have read a lot but I do not recall what I read where.

If it had come from Laser, more than 2 songs would have been in stereo,
I reckon? That is if there was a LaserDisc available back in 87, and if that
disc was in stereo? Doubt it.

Exactly. But I have no recollections what sources were used for the Lp.
It was a rather bussy time in my life... I remember a lot, but not everything.

I have a DVD of the EOT movie and all the songs on that are in stereo.

No dvds were around in '87 if memory serves me well?
Or did you wanna make another point?

I said I have a DVD of the movie. I didn't say it came from '87. The tracks are in stereo.

Great LP; one of my favourites since the day I bought it. Just like the 'On Tour' cd from 'A.J. Records'.

I still have an On Tour HIFI-Stereo video released by MGM. That one had great audio.!
