Elvis is still dressed in the clothes he wore for the pre-records of "It Hurts Me" production number, which was done prior to this Camera/Sound rehearsal.

A report on brief telephone conversation with Bob Finkel re ELVIS PRESLEY SPECIAL.
'Binder-Howe Production Company has been confirmed as the production entity for the ELVIS PRESLEY SPECIAL. Steve Binder will direct and produce. Bones Howe is Binder's business associate, technical advisor, recording expert, etc and works as an associate producer with binder.
Finkel tells me that they are currently putting together a total creative staff, as a matter of fact next week when you are in Los Angeles we can meet with Binder and Finkel if you wish (I have just talked with Steve on the phone this moment and he has suggested that we try have lunch on Tuesday or Wednesday).
Perhaps the most important piece of information from Finkel is that as a result of his recent meetings with Presley there has developed what appears to be an excellent relationship between the two and a rather revealing statement from Presley in that he wants this show to depart completely from the pattern of his motion pictures and from everything else he has done. He has even implied to Finkel that he is not interested in what Col. Parker has to say about this show he "wants everyone to know what he really can do..."

26th June 1968 Colonel Parker, Steve Binder, Bob Finkel, and Elvis.
