That's doesn't ring true................. Moses didn't write the Ten Commandments, he just delivered them !

Were you in that day, or did he leave a card to say that you could pick them up from the post office?

No, he didn't deliver them to me............ he delivered them to the Jewish people.

Actually, there were 15 to start with, but he dropped a tablet on the way down the mountain................

The insurance claim was rejected because the stone tablets were deemed worthless, and he was behind with the premiums, anyway !

The five 'missing' ones on the smashed tablet were:

11] Thou shalt support FTD.

12] Thou shalt support the TMMB forum.

13] Thou shalt attempt to solve the Trivia Quizzes.

14] Thou shalt read the entries & participate in the I Gotta Know section.

15] Thou shalt be nice to the older members, cutting them as much slack as they need.

Err........................... that's it !

I gotta admit, I always quite fancied Ava !

Mia had appeared for years on TV as a sweet, coy, long-haired 'girly' type in Peyton Place.

When she finished with the role, she had her hair cut short in a boyish style as a sort of personal statement !

I've never been able to listen to his stuff. Always turned the radio down/off when they played his records. I did hear him doing some jazz song years ago which was good, but other than that, no thanks. Same goes for Cat Stevens.

Rosa Parks
(02/04/1906 – 10/24/2005)
US activist who kick-started the US Civil Rights movement by refusing to give up her bus seat to a white passenger.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

She couldn't have realised what the consequences of her impromptu gesture would be.

Quote:
On December 1, 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama, Parks refused to obey bus driver James F. Blake's order that she give up her seat to make room for a white passenger.
Parks' action was not the first of its kind to impact the civil rights issue.
Others had taken similar steps, including Lizzie Jennings in 1854, Homer Plessy in 1892, Irene Morgan in 1946, Sarah Louise Keys in 1955, and Claudette Colvin on the same bus system nine months before Parks, but Parks' civil disobedience had the effect of sparking the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
