The quote for the 2nd is so true. This story today made me sad for today's school children...

The quotation is often mis-quoted as:

"Better to have loved in vain than to have never loved at all"

Or something similar.

Meaning it's better to have loved someone, even if it's an unrequited love, than to have never loved anyone.

When people speak to each other, even if they are using the same language [example: English] they don't always understand each other.

It's as if they're talking in another language !

Johnny, just know now that it's over, I was sitting back with my feet kicked up, waiting to see if you'd get any takers!

Colin's a coy one though. Maybe he tripped the trap on purpose, so no one else would be injured. He's a hard one to figure out.

Quote of the Day - 7th February:

"I observe that there are two entirely different theories according to which individual men seek to get on in the world.
One theory leads a man to pull down everybody around him in order to climb up on them to a higher place.
The other leads a man to help everybody around him in order that he may go up with them."

One of THE legends. Not fairly credited as one of the best actors ever, but he was great.

Well, he only had three starring roles before he was killed at 24.

We'll never know what heights he may have reached.....................

But you can't measure someone's talent on things they didn't do, only what they did do.
