come on people, does no-one else have some nice rare or unusual recorda apart from the couple of so far?
y'all must have some nice vinyl, let's see it. don't be shy. use a camera, phone or a scanner(won't be any worse than mine), just ask Ger!(mr. nice guy).

my dear scotsman, a handfull post on a forum... the others read and look in.
It's been always like this, far back as I can remember. Add to it, very few
fans collect vintage vinyl. Keeping up with ftd and boots is costly enough
for most. Still, no reason to complain... the fans clicking on your and Niels'
topics aint too bad at all. The topics John and I do are here because we like
to put the stuff together. Some topics get 500 plus visits... some 200...
Why the difference in numbers? You tell me.

Here's more or less what's left of my vinyl collection.

you are probably right about the boots and the ftd issues.i used to buy bootlegs back in the 90's and the early 2000's,i bought a lot, (spent way too much on them) from a guy in Halifax, good guy.
i would buy concert discs on his advice (re quality of sound) and most of the time i was not disapointed, mind you i still bought as much vinyl as i could.
i prefer the feel ,smell and the look of real records. i cleared out a load of cd's a few years back due to cd rot! i kept the ones i thought were worth having and ebay'd the rest(if they had rot they were binned).i lost a good few. but i would have thought on here more would show some nice items. i'm not complaining about the numbers looking because if 1 person looks it is worth it. i enjoy putting my records on here to let others see them, not to show off,like look what i have but to let people see things that are unusual or rare in this part of the world.i'm happy to continue if people want to see them. Niels, get your camera out and get more on.
the argentinian single is on a white label with the RCA Victor,VIK,"x",RCS Camden and Difusin headings on it. i think it is a promo?
maybe someone can educate me on that.

Yes, it's Colonel Parker's Boy. I just stuck a photo onto a blank record cover to cheer it up. After 30 plus years it's still stuck fast.

released c. 1963 white label promotional issue only PAHL-4557/PAHL-4558
disc plus cover togheter valued at € 150,- (book is from 1997 mind you!)

i bought a lot of stuff from him. and i got a lot of concert footage on video as well. he used to come to Glasgow every couple of months and i would go and buy a loasd of stuff. yeah he was a good gut.
When i moved to England about 12years i went over to Halifax as i lived in Accrington at the time and bought some cd's then.
