New to this page, so first time posting a picture.
Record is called "Elvis Presley The First Year" on Black Belt records.
Blue vinyl. Thought I would share.

it's ( again!) a boot of a boot.
The original was 'titled The First Years, featured a photo
of Elvis, Scotty & Bill on the cover ( Sun publicity shot)
The cover, front & back , were printed in black & white,
and a number pressed into the frontcover.

Here a scan of the original LP as released in 1978; in dec. 1979 (semi-official) released on King label with booklet in the UK.

We were standing outside the Gates of Graceland, the summer of 78,
when out of the blue several young guys opened their shoulder bags
and started to 'hawk' the First Years album!
Ahhh...those were exciting days, with exciting boots!

I used to have that scotty and Bill one also, never knew it was a boot of a boot, LOL, again thats why I love this place, finding out new stuff daily.
I was at the local record store today and in the new arrivals section,(old vinyl not new releases) I found a copy of the Alternative Aloha show vinyl that was released a few years back, I already had a copy but this one was priced $4.00, couldn't leave it there at that price LOL. Now I can listen to it, my other copy is still sealed.
