Ernst Jorgenson : The DVD being a new medium, you have to negotiate from scratch, and I’m not exaggerating when I say there will be people coming in asking for $1000 for the use of a song as an advance, but there will be someone coming in asking for a million. This is what happened with ‘Are You Lonesome Tonight’ on TTWII SE. At the last minute the owner came in asking for so much money. Everybody needs to be paid the same, otherwise everybody will increase their price and make it unworkable.

Multiple looks at a monarch - beautifully written.

Excuse my complete ignorance, is this from a book, or a book you're putting together, or what exactly is it? It's great whatever it is. I read your credits at the end, but not sure if these are just contributions that you are compiling into something, or what it is. Either way, fantastic!

Thanks again for sharing, you don't post nearly often enough, keep 'em coming!

Doubt I will ever read any of the pages, but as always:

Yeah, David, is this one of the book projects you're making that you've mentioned before?

I've not had chance to read it yet, and if it's a book that's coming out, I'll not read it here & wait for the book.

Hi there, no it's not one of the books, took about a week to put together in between my proper job ( lots of Loose Women this week! if that means anything to UK viewers) - so you can go ahead and read, though will look close in style.

Excellent post, Davide! thumbs.gif Another contender to Post of the Year! banana_rock.gif

If only the people behind the Elvis On Tour DVD/Blu-Ray release were willing to put half of this hard work behind their efforts...

That's an amazing piece of work, and a fantastic read. Thanks so much Davide!

I wonder what David Myers problem with Elvis was? Everyone else seems to say he was a gentleman, had time for everyone etc etc, yet this David Myers says he was disgusting and boring! I wonder what was said to make him feel this way?
