I suppose they are nice and handy for playing, but they don't have the feel or class of quality records.

And don't forget the smell! They also lack the priceless smell old records have. Even still sealed (but very old) records have this. CD's smell like ... nothing! And if they smell like anything, it's the smell of unstopable progress and materialism.
CD's are ugly too, especially classic albums that were re-released on CD. Just compare classic boots like 'Rockin' Rebel' to their CD counterparts ....

Yes I know. That guy used both EU and USA discs for his packages, and sold them as official product on eBay, claiming they are HMV exclusive etc., and for very big prices too! But since a lot of collectors have complained about these, he removed the claim that they are rare official products. The high prices stayed the same though.

I certainly don't want to spoil your party, and more power to you for being happy with them. But the only people I know who bought any of these, bought them under the assumption they were buying rare official products.
Either way you look at it, these are what they really are: homemade counterfeits.

'Today, Tomorrow And Forever' - Advance Promo 4-CD set (2002)

Before the wellknown 4-CD set was released, in the regular bookcase version, BMG pressed a few of the so-called fatcase Advance copies in a jewel case.
Very hard to find and pretty cool.

Spanish eyes originates from Germany and was recorded in 1964 with the title Moon over Naples by Bert Kaempfert Orchestra (Polydor 59033); the original recording with lyrics was made in 1965 by Freddy Quinn (Polydor ??) and for the foreign market re-recorded by him in 1965 with the title Blue Spanish eyes (Four corners of the world FC 4-126).
